Scholarship
Founded in 1951, the Delta Omega Zeta Chapter of Huntsville, Alabama, is a community service oriented organization that initiated an effort to support education vital to every community’s growth and future.
Our chapter began offering a scholarship to a graduating high school female interested in furthering her education. At present, the chapter will offer scholarships to female applicants from the Huntsville City Schools and Madison County Schools with high academic achievement, outstanding character, community service, and having been accepted into a college or university.
Scholarship Criteria
If selected, you will be required to email a verification letter of enrollment from college or university at a later date.
Actively involved in rendering service to social and civic organizations, her local church, school, and community.
3.0 GPA or above based on a 4.0 scale.
Required to attend the scholarship program. If you do not attend, your scholarship will be forfeited.
* Talent is required for part of the program.
Completed Application.
Make sure application is signed by parent or guardian.
All sections of the application form completed and emailed.
Email a copy of your official transcript.
Email two letters of recommendations.
Email a color headshot photo (4x6). (Disclaimer: Photo will be used in a program or booklet)
Checklist
(Disclaimer: Must be enrolled at the accepted college or university for a year or will have to refund the scholarship back to Delta Omega Zeta Chapter.)
